About the Role
Duties & Responsibilities
Managing efficiency in customer service team – Contracts issuance & Container vessel booking & delivery planning & export documentation. Basis on SOP and time matrix set for response turnaround time and accuracy.
Managing shipment schedule of buyer's requirement matching production capacity with secure collateral. Monitor and ensure timely turnover of outstanding contracts with matching credit limit and repayment plan. Proposition and planning with timely communication with relevant parties
Coordination with Iffco container freight desk & Preparation of relative budgeted freight list for forward selling & global tender bidding. Compliance on freight purchase/nomination SOP and DOA.
Optimizing production capacity with outstanding contracts or new contracts. Comply to SOP set for new contract & shipping instruction completion time lines
Improving response time to customer's enquiry or complaints or claims. Resolving issues effectively and timely. Creating awareness and networking with both internal and external stakeholders.
Risk management. SOP development and compliance.
Operation management including streamline and compliance to SOP. Moving toward system oriented instead of manual for reporting. Documenting processes such as MITI application. Documentation requirement & completion matrix; Freight nomination and verifying process.
Understanding of business model and cost factors of input commodities related to FMCG industry. Ocean freight industry news and trends. Products group, products and the process
Leading a team of subordinates for continuous improvement. Recognize and organizing training (including on the job) / workshop for team for continuous improvement and refreshment.
Skills & Experience
5 years working experience
Qualifications
Master of Business Administration / Bachelor degree of Business management or relevant business studies
