About the Role
Key Responsibilities
• Configure and install routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Implement LAN/WAN, VPN, and cloud connectivity solutions.
• Monitor network health and resolve connectivity issues promptly.
• Apply firmware updates, patches, and security configurations.
• Enforce network security policies and manage firewall rules.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement remediation.
• Analyze traffic patterns and optimize bandwidth usage.
• Implement QoS and load balancing strategies.
• Maintain detailed network diagrams, configuration files, and troubleshooting guides.
• Manage inventory of network devices and ensure accurate documentation.
Required Skills & Technologies
• WAN & SD-WAN: Hands-on experience with Cato SD-WAN deployment and MPLS troubleshooting.
• Firewalls: Check Point firewall configuration, VPN tunnels, and security policy enforcement.
• Switching & Wireless: Aruba switches and wireless setup, Ruckus Wireless AP deployment, H3C switch configuration.
• Access Control: Aruba ClearPass integration for RADIUS and NAC.
• Proxy: Sangfor proxy configuration and maintenance.
• Cloud Networking: Azure and AWS networking (subnets, routing, VPN gateways).
• Virtualization: Hyper-V administration for virtual network environments.
• Monitoring Tools: PRTG for network health monitoring, HPE IMC for device management, ServiceNow, Splunk, Palo Alto Networks, Zabbix, Nagios, Elastic Stack.
• Protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF.
• Automation: Basic scripting (Python, PowerShell) for configuration and reporting.
• Conceptual understanding of AI-driven operations and automation strategies.
• Strong security mindset with ability to design and implement robust security measures.
• Soft Skills: Troubleshooting, documentation, teamwork.
• Language Requirement: Proficiency in English and Mandarin
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Networking, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in network engineering.
• Certifications: CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet NSE, VMware VCP preferred.
Required strong familiarity with Aruba and HPE networking.
