Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled and innovative PCB Design Engineer to join our team. As a PCB Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of printed circuit boards (PCBs) for our electronic products. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in PCB layout and design, proficiency in industry-standard design tools, and a passion for creating high-quality, reliable PCBs.
Responsibilities and Duties
▪ Collaborate with the hardware engineering team to understand design requirements.
▪ Design and layout multilayer PCBs using industry-standard design software.
▪ Ensure PCB layouts meet electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing requirements.
▪ Implement best practices for signal integrity, power distribution, and thermal management.
▪ Conduct design reviews and gather feedback from cross-functional teams.
▪ Generate PCB fabrication and assembly files, including Gerber files and BOM.
▪ Perform design rule checks (DRC) and signal integrity analysis.
▪ Collaborate with PCB fabrication and assembly vendors for successful board manufacturing.
▪ Troubleshoot and resolve layout-related issues during prototype testing and production.
▪ Stay updated with the latest PCB design trends and technologies.
Requirement
▪ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
▪ X years of experience in PCB design and layout.
▪ Proficiency in industry-standard PCB design software.
▪ Strong understanding of high-speed signal routing and impedance matching.
▪ Knowledge of PCB fabrication and assembly processes.
▪ Familiarity with EDA tools and simulation software.
▪ Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
▪ Detail-oriented with problem-solving abilities.
▪ Experience in designing PCBs for electronic systems is a plus.
▪ Knowledge of mechanical design and enclosure integration is advantageous.
