About the Role
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for test plan, test cases and test procedures for manual software testing including mobile applications.
- Carry out integration, system, acceptance, regression, functionality, UI/UX, performance and stress test.
- To ensure the deliverables are in line with requirements/expected business solutions and meet the deployment requirements.
- Communicate with business analysts to understand requirements document for preparation of test cases.
- Communicate with software developers to ensure defects are resolved before release to Production.
- Providing 2nd level supports/troubleshooting to stakeholders whenever necessary.
- Reporting bugs to software developers and raise UI/UX feedback to business analysts.
- Assisting in post-release testing including software compatibility test.
Requirements:
At least Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related technical field or equivalent experience.
Minimum 2 years of working experience as Manual Software Tester, with experience in HCM/Payroll products would be a strong advantage.
Ability to write test plans and test cases for positive and negative testing.
Ability to read, write and converse fluently in English required.
Strong in analytical, logic thinking and problem-solving.
Strong commitment to work and ownership in a product/project delivery-oriented environment.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and is a proactive learner.
Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Ability to work and collaborate with teams.
Possess knowledge and experience in automated testing using Selenium and Python would be a strong advantage.
Possess technical/programming background and MSSQL/Oracle would be a strong advantage.
