Job Overview
We are looking for a System Support Engineer to join our team to provide technical support and maintenance for computer systems and networks within an organization.
System Support Engineer provides technical support, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to the maintenance and optimization of computer systems and networks. You will assist users, perform troubleshooting, manage system maintenance tasks, and collaborate with other teams.
Responsibilities and Duties
▪ To provide application support and diagnose software and hardware issue to local and overseas customer.
▪ To explain technical information clearly.
▪ To diagnose software and hardware problems and redirect the problems to appropriate resources.
▪ To travel to local and overseas sites for technical and application support.
▪ To perform technical support.
▪ To assist in testing, repairing, servicing, and maintaining company products.
▪ To carry standby phone calls based on a routine schedule.
▪ To work on a shift based on a routine schedule.
▪ To search for better hardware and software technologies for use in developing and implementing a different range of products, through means of facts findings (internet, books, magazines, journals) or attending training sessions whenever required.
▪ To prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly/work progress reports, and other related reports and documents required on time.
▪ Any other duties assigned by the superior.
Requirement
▪ Possess at least a Degree in Electronic & Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
▪ Knowledge in computer hardware, networking technologies and Motorola/Intel/Microchip MCU architecture.
▪ Knowledge in DSP/Ethernet/RFID/C language/Linux program design will be an added advantage.
▪ Problem-solving and hands-on troubleshooting skills.
▪ Independent and focused individual capable of taking challenges under a highly competitive environment.
▪ Able to communicate effectively at all levels and a good team player.
▪ Willing to travel overseas and work shift based.
▪ Excellent written spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English.
